This Is New Texture For Kazunori Itos Excellent F-105d. This F-105d Thunderchief Was Assigned To The 562nd Tfs 23 Tfw At Mcconnell Afb, Kansas. It Appeared In These Markings Between October 29-11 November 1964, For The Goldfire Ii & Operation Desert Strike Which Was A Joint Us Airforce-army Excercise. The 23rd Tfw Later Deployed Korat For Support Of The Vietnam War Where They Flew F-105ds And Fs, The 23rd Is No Longer At Mcconnell Afb. They Last Flew The A-10 Warthog In Desert Storm.
