CFS Macro Lancia 3 Ro CFS Version of a WWII ground vehicle. The Lancia 3 Ro was an italian heavy truck used by the Regio Esercito, Wehrmacht and other axis forces, during WWII. Called King of the Road or simply Giant, the Lancia 3 Ro NM (Nafta Militare Diesel Military) can be considered the most reliable heavy truck of the Royal Italian Army. Serving in all theaters of the war, Africa Settentrionale Italiana (Libya), Africa Orientale Italiana (Abissinia), the Balcans and Russia, the 3RO evolved from the RO in 1938 by receiving a stronger 5-cyl. engine. Although a 4x2, it was capable of good speeds even on sand and desert tracks, had a good load capacity (32 soldiers, 7 horses or one light tank) and was easy to maintain. Some 9, 490 Lancia 3 Ro s were built over the course of the war and came in many variants; troop transport, supply transport, 5000 liter fuel tanker, 4, 000 liter water tanker, mobile repair workshops, anti-aircraft, and self-propelled guns. The self-propelled gun version was used in North Africa and Sicily while porting the 90 53 gun as well as the 100 17 howitzer. After the armistice of Sep 8, 1943, the Wehrmacht gladly absorbed the captured trucks as well as 772 samples built for the former ally between January 1944 and January 1945, the last hundred receiving the Einheitsfuehrerhaus (wood cab). After WWII the 3 Ro was produced until 1950 and remained in service with the Italian Army with the last 3 Ro truck being retired in 1964. I have created this api macro with Easy Object Designer (EOD), Version 2. 2. 85 (Matthias Br ckner), to generate the static Lancia 3 Ro, in four versions, with use of BMP transparent textures, oriented to CFS scenery designers and that they work with Airport 2. 0 or later. This macro was tested only in CFS1 sceneries, but I believe that can work without problems in CFS2-3 and FS2000-2002. All mine API macros, could be included on objects libraries with crash detection (for CFS missions), but must be distributed with the original API-MACRO copyright.
