CFS Macro Bedford OYD. CFS Version of a WWII ground vehicle. The Bedford OYD, was a 3-ton 4x2 Truck built by Bedford Vehicles (subsidiary of Vauxhall Motors, Luton, which is a subsidiary of American General Motors) during the Second World War. The Bedford O-series was a commercial truck which had been launched in 1939. Based on the OL model and militarised for service with simplified bodywork. Designed as a general load and troop carrier with 157in wheelbase, the early production samples, like with most British trucks, had 34x7 dual rear tires instead of the later 10. 50-16 single rears. Early war models had wooden rear bodies and twin headlights. Production of the civilian trucks was discontinued soon after the outbreak of the second world war. The OY-series, in particular the OYD general

Additional. Maximum speed was around 65 km h. I have created a api macro with Easy Object Designer (EOD), Version 2. 0. 47 (Matthias Br ckner), to generate two (with and without canvas) static Bedford OYD, used by RAF Ground Services on WWII. Some textures are based on pictures availables on WWII Drawings site, mastered by Vincent Bourgui on, Rochefort (Belgium) and www. o5m6. de, Engines of the Red Army site. This macro was tested only in CFS1 sceneries, but I believe that can work without problems in CFS2-3 and FS2000-2002. All mine API macros, could be included on objects libraries with crash detection (for CFS missions), but must be distributed with the original API-MACRO copyright.
