FS98 SNCAC NC702 Martinet 1940. Light, all-metal 10-seat twin-engined transport designed by Siebel Flugzeugwerke in Halle as Siebel Si-204A. Based on the smaller FH-104 Hallore, it was originally intended as a passenger plane, but then produced for the Luftwaffe as a light communications aircraft and crew trainer. After 15 initial prototypes were built in 1940, production was continued in France by SNCAC under the model name NC702 Martinet, with 3-bladed propellers and 600 hp Renault 12S00 engines, French versions of the 12-cyl inverted-V Argus As411. Top speed. 196 knots. 110 Units built. Versatile, useful, and easy to fly, production was continued after WW2 in different countries, and some units were still operational well into the 60 s.
