Walney Island Barrow EGNL. 1. 5nm NW of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria Two asphalt runways 17 35 and 05 23 (unlicensed). Walney Radio 123. 20 NDB WL 385. 0 INFORMATION FOR FLIGHT SIMULATION ONLY Position: Due to the innacuracy of Microsofts coastline, the NW corner of the airfield when at the correct coordinates was over the sea. Now, in flightsim X working screen, press to reveal top menu bar. Select World then Scenery Library. Click on Add an Area, click addon Scenery, click archive required (in this case Walney IslandEGNL) then click OK. The chosen archive should now be at top of list. Use Move Down button to put it below addon Scenery and also below Static Objects Library if you happen to have it installed. Now click OK to install the new data base and when flightsim X window re-opens, hopefully you should see the new scenery. Note: Operating in Windows 7 requires a slightly different technique. See my Windows 7 ReadMe text file. Remove from scenery library list and delete folder to uninstall. Alf Denham 18th October2010
