Scenery
This land and water class covers the Comoro, Mayonette and Glorioso Islands. Both land and water class have been modified. One runway has been added to Glorioso Island. I could not find any ICAO codes for this island. I named this airport FX01. It will be found under the Comoro Islands. The location of Glorioso Island is: S1133. 72 E4717. 44 Potential scenery problems: Microsoft flight simulator 2004 when designing the Comoro Islands made an error in creating the island of Anjouan. It was split in half and has land where the sea should be. I recommend downloading comorisl. zip. It Includes replacement coastlines and roads (LWMs & VTPs) for Anjouan, Moheli and Grande Comore islands created by James Thompson. One more minor problem. Show more... when using James Thompsons terrain with FSGenesis. It causes some land class tiles to be in the wrong location on the island of Moheli. It is a trade off that is no problem for me. Moheli is a less important island in the group and Anjouan is a major island. If you do not use a terrain Mesh software you probably will not experience the same scenery problems that I have.. . For landclass modification I used Landclass Assistant 1. 4 by John Cillis and for the water class and some land class modification I used Russel Dirks excellent Ez-Landclass software.
