KMKJ Mountain Empire Airport. MKJ is situated between the towns of Wytheville and Marion Virgina. Since the release of FS2004, in which the msfs default KMKJ is very little with little more than a runway and little apron, the airport has been expanded, with the addition of a parallel taxiway, an apron expansion, and the addition of a base for Carillions (the regional medical company) LifeGuard 11 rescue helicopter, a shiny new Eurocopter EC-135.
