FS2004 United Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC10-10 (N1819U). While cruising at FL370 on a flight from Denver to Chicago, the no. 2 engine suffered an uncontained failure. Shrapnel from the engine damaged all three main hydraulic lines in the tail, causing a total loss of hydraulics aboard. The aircraft crashed whilst attempting an emergency landing at Sioux City on July 19, 1989. The flight was United 232 from Denver to Chicago and Philadelphia. not continental and it is deticated to the people who perished on ua flight 232

I don t mean to take the wind out of anyone s sail, but flt.232 that crash landed in Sioux City, Iowa was a DC 10, believe it Continental Airlines Flt. 232. And ease noladrew mind little 1 2 passengers and both pilots lived through crash. Once again, m not saying right you re not, if wrong ll eat crow. It won be 1st time.

Great model for flight, but why did you make this particular jet Was it dedicated to the pilots and passengers who perrished on flight The description didn t elaborate....It was an erie feeling flying sim. I kept waiting incident occur while in sim flight...but happen able land her flawlessly after a shortie at Armstrong MSY New Orleans, LA.
