Realistic Snow Ice Runways version 2. 0 This file allows more realistic looking runways in any area in the world that has snow on the ground in the world. These runways will replace a msfs default winter asphalt and concrete runways and add more of a icy snow mix to it. You will still be able to see rwy numbers etc, but the rest of the runway looks realistic. Installation: 1. Go into your fs9 Texture folder and back up your runway11_hw. bmp and runway12_hw. bmp file and save it somewhere you can remember incase you dont like the look of this texture. 2. Unzip runway11_hw. bmp and runway12_hw. zip into the fs9 Texture folder and overwrite the runway11_hw. bmp and runway12_hw. bmp with these new ones. 3. Start fs9 and enjoy. Great download Its not a very big file so its quick to and it couldn t be any easier install. It adds realism because the snow is actually lying on runway.
