FS2004 Scenery Roosevelt Field The Golden Age Era of the 30s. This is the last of a trilogy of sceneries for Roosevelt Field but certainly not the least. After the success of Lindberghs flight in 1927, Roosevelt Field grew rapidly. Most of the major big name airplane builders were here selling and servicing their aircrafts. Roosevelt Aviation School, the largest school in aviation, was full with students using the GI Bill. This activity during the 30s became known at the Golden Age of Aviation and Roosevelt Field was no exception. By William Shea
