Mount St Helena South Field 00SH This scenery is my first attempt, so please dont expect too much. Mount St Helena South Field (bit of a mouth full!) is a fictional airfield situated on the south side of Mount St Helena, and just north of Swift Reservoir. It is a Short Take Off Landing (STOL) airfield, and can be tricky to land in most aircraft. I havent given too much thought to whether the airfield is long enough for gliders to be tow launched, but Im sure there are Short Take Off Landing (STOL) aircraft out there that can do the job! Other than recreational flying, this field would offer a mail service to the locals and fixed rotary wing tours of the Volcanoe to tourists. by Stephen Read (HC603SR_sread)
