Complete Aircraft with Virtual Cockpit
Fs2002-2004 north american xb-70 valkyrie this aircraft was shaped to fly at mach 3 remaining within its mach cone throughout the flight regime, using the shock waves beneath the wing to generate compression lift. The wing tips could be folded down 65 to increase this compression lift and also to provide greater directional stability. Unfortunately exclusively two prototypes were built, and despite their exceptional performance, the xb-70 software had been cancelled after 130 missions, when an f-104 collided and destroyed the second model during a picture shoot. Even so, the b-70 provided invaluable high-speed flight test data. This model includes a detailed virtual cockpit with lighted gauges, folding wing tips and variable nose cone, complex movement for gear retraction, and reflective textures. Great aircraft, very fast, and sorta easy to land. It took me a little while find out how fold the wing tips but I finnaly found out. You have retract or extend flaps in order tips. They act like flaps. Anyway great job

It is a great plane of the past. I have been following it since 1964 in my first aircraft album. was succussful downloading on previous PC, but now i do not get afterburners on. to like that as part greats Francois

Good plane, I use it for exploring different parts of Hawaii over water because its speed and funnness Not exactle a STOL but ll do the tric most time.

One of the most enjoyable downloads I have experienced AMAZING speed coupled with extremely user friendly response. found it very easy to land even got down at RAF Valley Anglesey, North Wales, UK without running out runway which isn t bad, as d just crossed Mach 3.7 Mmmmmm nice

THIS IS THE BEST PLANE I VE GOT IN MY FLEET It flys at mach 4.67 even though my other xb 70 4.76 this one looks a lot faster when you press 5 on the numpad. The after burners are amazing. Although plane dosent come gps or auto pilot used 777 panel for it. Its only that can put speed brakes and fly like 737 it XB Plus its fully stable 80000ft 4.67. You land quite easilly but still challenge. s so monoverble such big planeit All say is graphics amaing, sound amazing flight dinamics KEEP IT UP

I m possibly the biggest XB 70 historian and must say that this is extremely accurate. The VC could be just a bit better, but would still give it 10 without an VC.

If you want to truly hone your flying skills, this aircraft is the one use. It does not have an automatic pilot, radio communication nor navigation tools. But, it fun fly fast and handles well in flight doing landing. The panel real world, but needs be updated with a com nav GPS panel. For me, AP can left out. Not having one, makes challenging terrific aircraft. XB 70 of my favorite downloads.

Great job on this plane. The engine flames have a terrific colour at dawn and night. I really enjoyed aircraft. only reason why didn t give perfect score was for the 2D cockpit looking L R side panels were not rendered very minor detail . Work

Fun and interesting to fly, the aircraft s speed performance seem a little off. However because unrealistic make more powerful, it is fun fly than pretty much anything else that I have tried.

A very nice aircraft. Very fast and hard to land Good challenge fly. I replaced the panel with a 747 digital control all functions. Nice graphics for model fly it almost time. Better than my SR 71 Looks better.

Give it a 5 for effort. This plane should be lot more than is. I found to let down. The VC is not very good. Looks like incomplete cartoon. main panel looks good til you try use and nothing works. No auto pilot, no radio, way set altitude, wings don t fold woud expect from the description.The sound does It fast though handles ok. Don know why have 10 rating. gone scrap yard.
