General stories ATTENTION ALL ROTORHEADS

Although the days of Keiths Virtual Helipad are gone they are not forgotten. The spirit of Keiths lives on at the newest web site dedicated to helicopters and their fans. The name of this new helicopter haven is Hover Control and it has all the features you are looking for. Of course there are file downloads (small selection now that is growing regularly), screen shots, forums, news, their own base of operations at KSMO (Missoula Montana) and online flying.

In addition there are some features you may not expect such as flight training, complete with one on one training and practice with qualified instructors. Fly-ins (one is in the planing stages as of this writing) on their own dedicated server. And there is the Hover Control Design Group that has already released one new chopper, the Schweizer 300S, with more on the drawing board.

For those of you that have been around the Flight Sim community for a while the names Jordan Moore, Adrian Lindsay and Lynn Rogers probably ring a bell. Well Jordan is the man responsible for starting and running the site and heads the Design Group. Adrian is one of Hover Controls instructor pilots in his time off from flying real world helicopters. Lynn Rogers, well known for his design and custom paint jobs is a member of the Design Group. With these folks like these, whose reputations are well known running the site, designing new birds, and teaching the neophite to fly them a visit to www.hovercontrol.com is a stop worth making. Stop in, take a look around, sign up for the student pilot program if you need to perfect your flying skills, and maybe even take delivery on a shiny new S300.
